The resort has implemented several safety measures to ensure the safety of its guests and employees.

With more and more businesses reopening as the global pandemic begins to subside, the health and safety of guests and employees remains a top priority. There is still some uncertainty surrounding the virus and it is in the best interest of all businesses to constantly monitor government guidelines and take all necessary precautions when reopening to the public. With that in mind, the staff at Casa del Mar Golf Resort & Spa has made an effort to improve all work protocols to ensure the well-being of everyone at the resort. 

  • Reception: New Check in-Check out protocols, touchless transactions, front desk screens, sanitizer stations and sanitized key-cards.
  • Guest Room: Visible verification of sanitized items (high touch items), reduction of in-room furnishings, new laundry protocols.
  • Public Spaces and Facilities: Additional deep cleaning of high touch surfaces, social distancing, ‘last cleaned’ charts, best practices for pools and lounges
  • Sueños del Mar Spa & Gym: New spa protocol for spa services and deep cleaning in all areas with sanitized stations for all spa / Gym areas.
  • Restaurant El Tapanco & Bar Maguey: New standards and service approach to buffets, banquets and room-service. Paperless service (QR Menus)

- Social distancing operating procedures and signage

- Guidance on the use of protective equipment as necessary by hotel colleagues

- Updated colleague training and certification

- Hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes available in guest rooms and at high-touch points throughout hotels
